There are nice people, there are mean people

I asked for help today at a popular scrapbooking website about a problem I was having. There is a person visiting my blog that has bad intentions. I made a mistake posting what I did and I'm paying the price for it dearly! I've tried deleting the pictures and the post, but due to a "cached file", my pictures and text still show.

All but one of the comments from the Peas I received were helpful and empathic but one:

I'm as disgusted by this person's behavior as everyone else, but I'm also a little shocked that nobody has said anything about the kind of story (with photos!) you were sharing with the entire world.

This is from one mother to me, another mother. Is this a helpful statement? Was this purposely said to make me feel worse than I already felt? It worked. Thanks for your help, Jessica. You have made me feel like the most absolute worse mother in the world. I openly admitted how upset and sick I was about the mistake I had made. I guess your comment was just to rub salt in my wounds.

I'm so bummed for you that this is happening. I hate rude people. Not that I'd ever say it to them because that's just rude. Just be true to yourself. You know what your feelings are, and you know that no matter what anybody else says, you are an awesome mom. (I have no idea what the post was over, but there's no way in the world that you could be a bad mom. your blogs are so full of your love for your kids...) Here's to you and all the NICE people out there! :)

Gosh i am so sorry about all this happening to you. I read about this in twopeas. Sorry about the unfriendly comment. It wasn't very nice of her and is not your fault that some sicko is larking thru your blog for some sick thought which was suppose to be innocent. I hope they catch this sicko.

I am so sorry that this is happening to you. =( I know who made this comment, and I have to say she is right. So many agencies warn us NOT to put any photos of our kids in underwear, nude, or even in bathing suits online because there are sick people out there who search for these pics, and they prey on nice, well meaning individuals such as yourself.

Again I am so sorry to hear this is happening to you, and I am sorry you are having to pay for this mistake. I can only hope that the attention you have brought to your situation will help others avoid this scary situation.

Heather, you're not a bad mother. At all. And you've done all you can to fix the problem. That=good mother. Clearly.

Oh gosh... let it roll off your back. You *know* how 2Peas can be and you didn't deserve that comment at all.
Shame on her!!!
