Oh, look at this! The first page of the year!

I was looking at my 2013 album and I have to say I was quite embarrassed. There are 2 completed pages for that year.

TWO!

So, I decided I better get crackin' on that year. After all, 2007 has 9 albums. Not 9 pages....9 ALBUMS. I must have had a lot of extra time in 2007.

I started right at the beginning of 2013, printed these two pictures...

and just went for it. I used a really old Daisy D's tag that I made for them when Wonder Years was released, some Heidi Swapp paper, Cosmo chip alphas and a really old Sass rubon. There is also an old Creative Imaginations epoxy heart down in the left hand corner. I added a little gesso and some other gel stuff (I asked Trent to just hand me something from the basket and that's what he handed me) and went to town.

Kat only had her guitar for a couple of weeks when she played a little tune for Blake. He really liked it and if you look close enough you can tell. His feet are blurry in the left hand picture from moving them and he's clapping in the right hand picture.

yummy dinner

So, tonight for dinner, I made Suzanne's Grilled Italian Sausage and Vegi Panini. Boy, it was good!

I did have to improvise a bit, though. I couldn't find Italian Sausage at Trader Joes, so I used chicken mango sausage instead. I used yellow squash instead of zucchini and I didn't add onions or cheese. Erik hates onions.

I tried to tell the kids they were hotdogs but they weren't believing me. Fine. They can starve!

This is something we'll be having again and again. Well, Erik and I will anyway.

October Afternoon and some older Making Memories. Stamps are BamPop! I haven't decided if I really like this one or not. I hate it when I have a layout that doesn't sit well with me. I've already ripped it apart once. I guess I'll just leave it for now and move onto something else.

More layouts. Two Peas asked me to do some projects with Little Yellow Bicycle. I sure had fun using it.

All the fruit was cut with my Cricut.

I have a thing for vintage buttons still on their packaging.

I knew someday I'd have a use for the blue Bazzill flowers.

Collarbone

I may have broken my collarbone the other day. In the middle of the night, I got up from bed, tripped over the dog and fell on the handlebars on Katrina's scooter. Why was the scooter in the middle of my bedroom? I have no idea.

Anyway, the pain was immediate and never went away. I was able to sleep somewhat but decided to go to Urgent Care the next morning. After several x-rays, they were unable to get a clear reading. I guess there was a shadow or something. I left in a sling, a Rx for pain killers, and was told I had at least severe bruising on my collarbone and chest wall. If it still hurts in 4-5 days, then that means it's probably broken.

I can't scrapbook. I'm going on my third day here and it's already getting to me.

I also can't chew and swallow without being in pain. My neck is swollen. I'm congested and when I blow my nose all I get is blood. Gross. TMI? Sorry.

Alvin and the Chipmunks

I'm so sick of this movie. I didn't want to see it when it first came out and I didn't want to rent it either. However, the kids have been begging to see it ever since it was in theatres. I would feel pretty darn guilty if I didn't let them rent it.

It's Monday and we rented it on Friday. It has been played five times since then. Ugh! Thank goodness it goes back tomorrow. I'm not buying it no matter how many times they ask.

I'm not sure why the Wonder Years are just sitting around at Peek. This is my FAVORITE collection from Daisy D's ever. EVER.

The artist for this line is Stephanie DosReis. The only link I could find was the one to her Etsy shop. She does such BEAUTIFUL work.

A little birdhouse. I punched 40 kazillion circles for the roof.

A birthday tag. I used brads for the zebra's arms so they move around.

This one is from the idea book. Shhhhh.... Did you know there was an idea book just for the Wonder Years??? There is. I have 2 other layouts in it.

Now, go buy some Wonder Years from Peek. I promise you will LOVE it. Ok?
