is our neighbor's dog. We've been watching her this week. She is just the sweetest thing. I guess it's a good thing that Kat is more into Beanie Babies than dolls. It's so funny to watch her walk around with this doll in her mouth. She's very delicate with it. There is no chewing or biting....just carrying.

are you feeding my fish?

Did you notice that I added little fish to my blog? They're so cute. When you click on the image, it drops fish food and they all scurry to get it.

anyway, here are some layouts:

Fancy Pants Glitter Cuts. I love to layer them. I also used a little Glimmer Mist on this, too.

BasicGrey Green at Heart. Plus, a whole bunch of other stuff. Doesn't Katrina look so excited? It reminds me of this here.

Thanks for looking. :D

Trenton won't hold my hand anymore

The title has nothing to do with my post. It's just a reminder for me when I do my next layout that on March 26, 2010, Trenton refuses to hold my hand. He also doesn't want to walk with his sister and her classmates because it's embarrassing to walk with the little kids. *sigh*

Here are some layouts I have yet to post here.

Sassafras lass Nerdy Bird

Sassafrass Lass amplify

more Sassafras Lass. This time chipboard and felties.

Oh, and look! This isn't Sassafras Lass. It's October Afternoon.

Thanks for looking and thanks for your comments.

At Bitten by The Bug, we were to use the Cake2 cut from Sweet Treats.

You win some you lose some....I just don't like the way this turned out.

Great Grandpa's Hats

My grandfather's WWII uniform was handed down to Trenton. He LOVES American history and thought this was the coolest thing ever. He would wear the uniform every day except for the fact that it's just a bit too big and it's itchy because it's made of wool. He's so proud of these hats and he wears them quite frequently. He even wore them to school for a few days. In fact, he's wearing one of them right now as I type this.

Scribble Scrabble Bric a Brac and a wee bit of Graphic 45.

Butterfly Exhibit at Botanical Gardens

Who knew the kids were so skittish of butterflies? It was embarrassing as they squealed and flapped their hands whenever they thought a butterfly was going to land on them.
Trent kept saying, "Get me out of here". Oh, whatever. That made me want to stay even longer. My mom got one to sit on her finger and I thought the kids were going to faint from the sight.

Avin and the shcms the secrul.

This morning I discovered Katrina on the computer by herself. Not only was she on the computer, but she was on YouTube. That made me a bit nervous. I didn't think she was capable of getting around on the internet by herself. I had to have the serious talk with her.

She was watching videos of Alvin and the Chipmunks. I asked her how she got there.

She said, "I went to the circle with the little fox. Then I typed in "Alvin and the Chipmunks the Squeakquel".

I looked around but there was nothing with "Alvin and the Chipmunks..." on it anywhere near her.

I asked her how she knew how to spell it and she said, "I sounded it out". She showed me exactly what she did and when she started typing in "Avin...." the box filled up with what she had written previously. It was "Avin and the shcms the secrul." There was a period in it, too.

I can't believe she made it to YouTube videos all on her own. *shudder*

A Deer Friend

That sweet little deer is from Technique Tuesday. They hosted BBTB2 this week. I also asked all the designers to use the flouish cut from Stretch Your Imagination.

Check out the rest of the projects. They're so cute!

You can tell how high the dog can jump

by looking at where the oranges are. Zoe LOVES oranges. Well, at least I think she does. She really likes balls. I'm not sure if she jumps for oranges because they're balls to her or if she likes the taste of them.

Once she gets an orange, she throws it around for awhile, chases it and runs around the yard with it. After she's done with it, she actually peels it (remember, this is the same dog than can open my child-proof cabinet door to get to the garbage) and eats the fruit. She leaves the peels out in the yard to rot.

I spent 30 minutes outside in the cold waiting for her to jump for oranges to get this picture. She kept dropping her ball on my feet and sticking her nose in my lens. I ignored her. It was difficult to do but after several minutes, she finally decided to entertain herself by getting a ball...I mean orange.
