It is green in Arizona

Here are a few pictures from our camping trip. We were in total awe when we came upon this fishing lagoon. It was so quiet, peaceful and green. It was kind of funny because the kids never spoke over a whisper the entire time we were there. They never caught any fish but they did get to watch them nibble on the bait.

Then, we did some hiking...

I let the kids climb up that hill just for the picture and then I told them to come on down from there as it was the wrong way. ;)

This is the outside of the cabin we were in. We stayed at Dead Horse Ranch. We were only here for about 5 minutes before Katrina kicked off her shoes and made herself at home. I can't help but feel that the picture would be more complete if one of them had a banjo in their hands.

We had a great time and wish we could have stayed just a wee bit longer. Before we came home, we decided to go to Red Rock. It was pretty there, too, but now Katrina has a poison ivy rash from the hike.
