Watermelon card

Hello everyone. It's project time for the Bitten by the Bug 2. Due to health issues and other stresses, I haven't participated in awhile.

It was my turn to pick a challenge and I decided to go old school. I asked the designers to use the watermelon cut from the Stretch Your Imagination cart.

I chose just the silhouette cut. It looked a lot fancier in my head....

I used BasicGrey June Bug and
Technique Tuesday stamps

They're hopping over there at BBTB2, so if you're in the mood to get some goodies you may want to head back over there and start the list. I would be participating, but there is something about going to the post office in the hot summer with two kids that can't sit still that drives me bonkers. When school is back in session, I'll think about doing some more hops.

Thanks for your comments.

Oh I totally relate to the heat, lol! Love the card and I don't know where my head was this week, somewhere I pulled Doodlecharms even tho I knew it was SYI, I guess that's a sign of Old Age, LOL!? Hope your feeling better soon, it's to hot to not be feeling good!

Great take on our challenge. I love the understated design which is so simple and yet pops with personality. My project is one of those "get those sunglasses out just to look" kinda cards.
