It worked out ok. We didn't have to drive an hour and a half and walk around in dust and dirt.
The pumpkins were also about a third of the price of the pumpkins at the patch. That was nice.
All the pumpkins were perfect. We didn't pick up what we thought would be a perfect pumpkin only to be disappointed when we turned it over and discover it was rotted.
We didn't get apple pie afterwards, BUT we got donuts instead. I think the kids like the donuts better anyway.
P.S. I think I like the yellow-ish glow the pictures have from the lights in the store. It gives it that "we forgot to hit the patch this year but we did ok" look.

Heather... I think we've ALL done that for time to time... The pumpkin patch is great.... but sometimes just going to get a pumpkin from the store is wayyyy quicker and easier on the budget! :o)
the kids don't look like they mind one bit! xxD
