That skirt, part 2

Today Katrina is pairing her new fluffy skirt with a cowgirl hat and an old pair of angel wings from a few Halloweens ago. You can't see in this picture, but she is also wearing purple knee socks and tennis shoes

We found this skirt in Target the other day. Kat had to have it. I can hardly wait to see what she pairs with it.

For the first day, she chose a High School Musical shirt and reindeer antlers.

178 Days

or is it 177? I do this every year. I have the kids wear the same thing on the last day of school as they did on the first day of school. I think you can tell which one is newer just by the longer hair on BOTH of them.

I worried about Katrina's white shirt all year long. I thought for sure she'd stain it permanently sometime during the year. I've scrubbed so many stains out of that shirt just for today's picture.

Ready 2 Rock

The Bitten By The Bug 2 team was asked by Enfys to use the Ready 2 Rock cut from the Hannah Montana cart. The only thing I could think of was Trent's long hair. He won't let us cut it. I think he's going for the Justin Bieber look but he denies it.

Older Crate Paper. I've had that bird in my stash for what feels like the last 5 years. What a relief to have finally used it. :P

Oh, and of course, it's really not that crooked IRL. My scanner throws things off.

Best Day Ever!

Our neighbors told us about a Star Wars event at Costco. You could pose with characters and get your picture taken. We don't have a Costco card, so they invited us to go with them.The kids dressed up in their costumes. We were the first ones there and the Star Wars characters were pretty impressed with the kids' enthusiasm.

After a while, it was decided that all 8 of us should have our picture taken with the crew, too.

Katrina is dressed as Padme Amidala and is posing next to her.


Oh, and look....there's Darth Maul, Jango Fett and Boba Fett hanging out near the frozen food section.

I don't know who this is. But she was standing next the the watermelons and I thought it made a nice shot. ;) None of the kids knew who she was either. Does anyone know? Trent just said maybe this is Boba Fett's son?


ETA: Boba Fett didn't have a son. He had a daughter but from the pictures I've seen, this doesn't look like her. I can tell this is going to drive me nuts.
Captain Fox was hanging out near the fresh meat section.

I really don't know the names of all these characters. Trenton knew all the names (with the exception of the green guy/gal).

After Star Wars, Costco had miniature donkeys and miniature horses out front. You can't top Star Wars and horses together on the same day. We also came home with M&M's and steaks!

She picked this out herself (obviously)...white patent leather scuffed up shoes and High School Musical socks. I love how the strap goes right across Troy's eyes.

I used the leaves from last week's challenge. I was so inspired by the projects last week that I had to use them.

But, the good news is that at least he's riding by himself! YAY!

The rest of my cards

These are the remainder of my cards for my Birthday themed class. I was thinking about having a class or two here at my home, but I'm just worried about the dogs and the kids. I did it once and it seemed to work out great. I got to see several of my friends from my old hang out. However, I think I'm more comfortable doing card classes outside of my home. So, if any of you are reading this and are interested in a card class from little ol' me that you could host at your home, let me know.

I'm also thinking of maybe selling kits and completed cards on Etsy. Is that something you'd be interested in? I always use high quality paper, cardstock and I'd stamp all the images for you. All you would need to do assemble the cards. They come with instructions and a picture of the completed card. All cards also come with a clear envelope.
