A couple of Technique Tuesday projects

This one is using the new Quincy font. Isn't it so much fun?!?

I love the wee little bird in the Long Stemmed Sentiments. This is such a cute, cute set.

Get them here (when they arrive...hopefully within the next week or so).

...more Jamaica

Sorry it took so long to get back. We had an incident with the dogs. More about that later...

We found this hat for Trenton at one of the little shopping center. The guy made this from coconut palm. It was so nicely woven and it Trent LOVED it. We loved it, too. Unfortunately, Customs took it away once we got back to Miami. :(

This was one of the excursions that we thought about doing but then changed our minds. We did end up going to the beach that is right next to the waterfall. People would climb up the falls. I didn't want to get my camera wet. ;)

Day 3 - Jamaica

Picasa only lets me upload 4 pictures at a time. I admit that I'm totally lazy and I don't want to re-size all the pictures in PSE before I upload to Blogger. Tomorrow I will have 4 more Jamaica pictures.

Waiting to dock at Jamaica.

Trent wanted to do this when we got home. ;)

Katrina was able to take her eyes off the fire breather for a fraction of a second so I could take her picture.

Trent wanted to try this, too.

More tomorrow....

Day 2

Day 2 of the cruise was a sea day. Not too much to do. The kids hung out at the Fun Factory for most of the day. That evening it was Formal Night.

Go ahead...ask my kids what their favorite part of the cruise was and they'll tell you it was the bunk beds. They LOVED those things and each night they were eager to get in them. Their second favorite part of the cruise was the light switch for the bathroom. It was outside of the bathroom and they thought it was oh so fun to turn off the light on someone as they did their business in the bathroom.

Katrina on the stairs in her formal dress.

I promised you cards...Here is one for the Bitten By the Bug challenge. We used the Mini Monograms dotted circle cut.

Another BBTB challenge. This was for the snails on the Walk in My Garden cart.

I'll have more tomorrow. Thanks!

Day One

We were invited to take a family cruise to the Caribbean. WOW! What an experience!! We had a great time.

Here are pictures from the first day as we left Miami:

The ship in the background is Carnival. They left before us.

Katrina liked to stand up on the ledge as we left. This picture makes my Mom nervous. ;)

The last bit of Miami as we left....

More tomorrow. I was told I had to update my blog. ;) I'll have some cards or something tomorrow.
