The Graduate & Blog Hop

It's time for another blog hop for Bitten By the Bug. This week, Regina asked us to use the ribbon Paper Pups cart. The first thing I thought of was when Liberty graduated the Petsmart classes.

All you have to do is just leave a comment on my blog for a chance to win this set of Technique Tuesday stamps:

When you're done, please visit Penny's blog for another chance to win more goodies. I'll choose a random winner by Friday.

Thanks for stopping by. :D

My Mom is a fames scrapbook werker

I found that sentence on some of Trent's schoolwork. He was writing sentences about his home and his family.

Reading that made my day!

I asked him what made me a famous scrapbooker and he said, "'cuz you're really good!" Ok, everybody say, "awwwwwww....".

The layout below was ripped apart three times before I finally decided to just accept it. I worry and fret over every little detail of every page I do but in actuality, my son doesn't really care. He thinks my pages are awesome (fames) anyway.

Free Sunday

No work today. Whew! It's nice to have a day off on a weekend.

We watched a couple movies today and now Erik is making hamburgers on the grill. Actually, he's making Juicy Lucys. I think it was a Man vs. Food episode where restaurants were putting cheese inside the burgers.

School started last Thursday. My youngest is now in Kindergarten. :(

Here are some layouts:

I actually used this card

Most of the cards I make end up sitting in one of several ziplock baggies. It was my mom's birthday so I gave this one to her.

Regina from Bitten By The Bug asked us to use the cone from the Indie Cart. Stamp is Technique Tuesday

in the moment

I can't believe it's the 14th already. Where have I been? All I remember is that it's been very hot. I keep waiting for the rain but it's been pretty light so far this year.

Here are some layouts:

A new card

I've been playing with one of Technique Tuesday's latest sets, Thanks for Everything. I love all the different fonts and ways to say "Thank You" that are included in this set. I also really like that it has a few verses for the inside of the card.

This card also uses Dew Drops. I think they're the coolest little embellishment. I just use a small glue dot to adhere them.

The patterned paper is the new Flair Fresh & Fabulous.

Oh, this card is also one that I'll be doing in my next class. We'll be doing some "Thank You" and a couple sympathy cards.

New Stuff and Favorites

If you're looking for the Blog Hop, it's in the post below.

Here's a layout I forgot to post from the stamp challenge I was hosting at Peek.

The challenge was to use stamps to make a border. I used Technique Tuesday Borderline Notions for the borders.

This is using the new Flair Fresh & Fabulous:

I cut the crown on my Cricut. The clear buttons have the Flair line underneath them with glitter on top. Old school. ;)

Now, here are my latest and favorite Cosmo layouts. ;)

That's it! Thanks for stopping by. Don't forget to leave a comment in the post below for your chance to win a great set of stamps from Technique Tuesday.

Blog Hop with Candy

It's time for another blog hop with candy from the Bitten by the Bug team. I have a great set of stamps from Technique Tuesday that I'm giving away this time.

Regina asked us to use the "Freedom" cut from Graphically Speaking. Here's my take below:

Just leave a comment on my blog to be entered into a random drawing at the end of the week.

Now, after you leave me a comment, please be sure to hop on down to Carole's blog.

Thanks for visiting!

Card Story

The kids love to make cards. They pull out a scrap piece of cardstock, use my Score-Pal and go to town. Trent's are usually complicated with lots of pockets and fancy folds. Katrina only folds hers once and for whatever reason, she always writes her name in big letters on the outside.

Right now she is making a card for Kiersten. Kiersten died over a year ago but she thinks I can somehow get this card to heaven. On the inside, it says, "I love you, Kiersten" and it is full of butterflies and flowers (some I drew for her), caterpillars and a sad face with tears.

Here are some layouts. I get some stuff done even though I've been so busy.

October Afternoon Ducks in a Row

Technique Tuesday stamps. I had a stamp challenge going on this month and this is one of the pages I did for it.
